We are currently looking for 1-2 dedicated individuals to work on the sales floor between 2-4 days per week, including either one weekend day each week, or full weekends every other week. Shifts are typically from 12-7pm and include closing tasks.
Sales Associate
Tasks Include:
- Assisting customers with sales, livestock selection, and general aquarium questions
- Maintaining and updating website inventory and stock levels
- Supporting day-to-day store operations and maintenance tasks as needed
Requirements:
- General knowledge of saltwater aquariums, including fish and coral care, common species identification, and basic equipment familiarity
- Ability to confidently answer routine customer questions
- Minimum age: 16
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to work weekends at least twice a month
- Availability between 11am-7pm at least twice a week
- Prior retail or aquatics experience is a plus but not required
Assistant Manager
Tasks Include:
- All Sales Associate position tasks
- Ensuring store operations are completed thoroughly and on time
- Additional responsibilities related to coral system care and maintenance
- Assistance with customer support, social media, ordering, and other online operations as needed
- Taking inventory of dry and live items
Requirements:
- Confident knowledge of saltwater aquariums, including fish and coral care, common species identification, and equipment familiarity.
- Minimum age: 18
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to work weekends as needed
- Availability between 11am-7pm at least 2-4 days a week

Experience in at least one of the following:
- Manager, shift lead, or similar position in a previous job.
- Experience working professionally with aquariums, such as working at a fish store, breeding, or maintenance.
- 2+ years of consistent care of a currently running saltwater reef aquarium (provide images of progress in your cover letter)
