Store Maintenance Associate

Tasks Include:

  • Cleaning fish and coral systems
  • General store maintenance (floors, bathroom, sidewalk, etc.)
  • Occasional sales assistance
  • Unboxing and acclimating new livestock arrivals
  • Other duties related to aquarium maintenance and fish care

Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of aquariums (no advanced knowledge required)
  • Minimum age: 16
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
  • Availability between 11am-7pm

Job Details:

  • 4-hour shifts, 2 days per week
  • Starting at $12/hour, with review after 90 days

Sales Associate

Tasks Include:

  • Performing all duties listed under Store Maintenance Associate as needed
  • Assisting customers with sales, livestock selection, and general aquarium questions
  • Maintaining and updating website inventory and stock levels
  • Supporting day-to-day store operations as required

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of saltwater aquariums, including fish and coral care, common species identification, and basic equipment familiarity
  • Ability to confidently answer routine customer questions
  • Minimum age: 16
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
  • Ability to work weekends at least twice a month
  • Availability between 11am-7pm
  • Prior retail or aquatics experience is a plus but not required

Job Details:

  • 6-8 hour shifts, 2-4 days per week
  • Starting at $15/hour, with review after 90 days

Online Operations Assistant

Please provide examples of your photography in your application - fish/coral photography is a plus! 

Tasks Include:

  • Fish, Coral, and Invertebrate photography 
  • Combination of sales associate and maintenance associate tasks as needed - such as ensuring aquariums are clean before photographing.
  • Uploading products to website and maintaining stock accuracy 

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of saltwater aquariums, with focus on species identification or willingness to research new species
  • Photography experience (use your own camera or we provide a Canon Mark III and necessary equipment)
  • Minimum age 16
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Job Details:

  • Flexible hours, as needed weekly (~4 hours) - can be combined with other positions
  • Starting at $16/hour, with review after 90 days, potential for online sales commissions
