Berghia "Aiptasia Eating" Nudibranch

Berghia "Aiptasia Eating" Nudibranch

sold out

Meet the worlds most effective Aiptasia eater! Berghia Nudibranchs feed exclusively on aiptasia anemones their entire lives. They may be small, but are capable of wiping out an entire population of aiptasia given time to breed and populate your aquarium.

We recommend starting with at least 2 per 50 gallons so they can reproduce. Berghia are hemaphrodites, so as long as you have 2 they will start to produce eggs!

Wrasses, large crabs and shrimp, and other pest-eaters may conflict with berghia. Introduce them at night by carefully letting them crawl out of the container onto a rock so they dont float away or get mistaken for food.
