Red Racer Nerite Snail (Marine Acclimated)

"Freshwater" nerite snails actually prefer brackish to marine environments! They might even breed in saltwater, unlike freshwater. We acclimate our nerite snails to normal reef conditions with all of our other invertebrates, around 1.026sg. A lid is required for these snails or they will crawl out of the tank, as they are used to living in tidepools and breathe air.
