Lettuce Sea Slug

Elysia crispata

AKA Lettuce Nudibranch (despite being unrelated to nudibranchs) the Lettuce Sea Slug feeds almost exclusively on the chloroplasts in algae, which it uses to photosynthesize. Our Captive Bred Lettuce Slugs are bred in store and are feeding on Bryopsis, which is what we recommend as their food source. 

Bryopsis typically has a feathery appearance as opposed to the grassy/hairy appearance of hair algae.
